“The Blind Spot” refers to society’s inability to perceive cybernetic thought models as an essential foundation of current power relations.
The publication uses a complex narrative structure—consisting of a short story, a linked glossary, a cognitive map, and visual collages—to reveal how technological, cultural, and ideological currents (cybernetics, counterculture, Silicon Valley, transhumanism) intertwine. Historical connections and hidden power structures are revealed through a visual cartography that makes visible the previously unnoticed continuity between cybernetic concepts and current social realities.
